Heather and Daniel’s Wedding & Reception was more than Fabulous; it was one of the best Wedding events of the year! With an A-Team of vendors and the sweetest and most positive couple you will ever meet, how could it not be Fabulous for this very special occasion.
Keeping with the Spanish villa feel of La Lomita Ranch, Lisa and her Wedding Planning team with Live and Love Events, designer Caitlyn Baker, and the floral magic of Ricardo with Elegant Details, the place looked stunning. Along with Bright Rentals, Got You Covered, & BBJ La Tavola which added to those pops of detail, it all came together and fulfilled the dream and vision of Heather & Daniel.
After Heather & Daniel made it official during the ceremony, the guests gathered in the a beautiful courtyard, to enjoy cocktails, provided by Audrey and her fantastic crew with Mixed Events 805 and with a little help from the White Horse Carriage Co., providing two of the cutest Boozy Burros, to pass out beers in their satchels.
When the time was right, all the guests were led to the main pavilion, where two large doors opened to reveal our great team’s tireless labor. Guest found their seats, as doors were close once again. We escorted Heather and Daniel to the door to prepare them for their Grand Entrance. MUIR MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT gave them the biggest introduction; with their guest cheering them on, they walked in and made their way to their sweetheart table through a long line wooden farm tables that acted like an aisle for them to walk through. I don’t think I’ve seen it done like that before.
After receiving thanks from Heather and Daniel, it was time to eat. And eat, we did! Mistura, a modern Peruvian restaurant, catered for this beautiful event. The food was amazing. Besides the food, they had a drink that is absolutely the best and my new favorite thing, Chicha Morada. It’s a cold purple drink, made with purple corn. It taste kind of like cranberry juice, without the tartness but still a little sweet. Very refreshing.
After dinner and all the wonderful toast, we moved everyone outside, where a giant white dance floor was ready for their first dance. Their first dance was a choreographed dance to “I Don’t Dance” by Lee Brice and it was a show-stopper. Their party was off and running with great dance music and EY Photo Booth. As the evening continued, Heather and Daniel cut their cake, provided by Splash Cafe privately, so not to disturb their guest from partying. Along with cake, Lucy’s Coffee Co, and Mistura’s late night pizza, the guest were treated well the whole evening.
When everything was coming to an end, the guests moved to the horse stables to prepare for Heather and Daniel’s big send-off. While they did that, Heather & Daniel
had their own private time to dance to “Diamond & Twine” by Ryan Hurd. It was a special time for them to reflect on their day with no one else around.
Now the big send off. Guest were ready with fiber optic wands and as they made their way through the crowd, the guests sang “My Girl” by The Temptations. An inside joke for everyone there, and of course Heather & Daniel got a good chuckle out of it.
Out of this whole day, I can’t forget Blake with SLOtography. He brought this whole day and evening to life with his amazing photos.
Again, it was a great day, team and memory for Heather & Daniel. Congratulations, you two!
