This past weekend, Fall is in the air with the Wedding & Reception at The Gardens at Peacock Farms in Arroyo Grande, Ca.

Funny, I never met Melissa & Aaron till the day of their wedding. All correspondences was over the phone or email, but when we met that day for the first time, it was like seeing old friends. They are amazing!

The ceremony was preformed by Rev. Scott Chamberlain, and the Bridal Party made up of eight lovely ladies and nine charming guys. It was an amusing and energetic group. Especially during the Grand Entrance, when they entered to “Shut Up and Dance” by Walk the Moon. I think they all had their own cheering section.

Then Melissa & Aaron had their first dance to “Hey Pretty Girl” by Kip Moore. Once Melissa’s Father welcomed all the guest and blessed the food, Tanner Jack’s Catering served an amazing dinner.

After the wonderful toast from family members, Melissa & Aaron headed to their cake table and dessert bar, to traditionally cut their cake.

During the Father/Daughter Dance, Melissa’s father James arranged Mary Hopkins to sing and play guitar for their song. Mary is very well known for her children’s songs. The song she sang was beautiful, called “Training Wheels”. It talks about how children start with training wheels and work their way to two wheels and how, as parents, we help them learn, but at one point, we have to let go. Beautiful song.

After a while of dancing and all the guest getting their freak on, Mary sang another song called “The Hippo Song”. Everyone joined in and had a blast!

A special thanks to Mason and Megan Photography and for providing the photo booth area. So much fun working with you two! And thank you to Jessica Carroll with Events By Jessie and the amazing staff at The Gardens at Peacock Farms.

Congratulations, Melissa & Aaron!
